White River Valley Introduction

Currently this web site will be the holder of as many things about the White River Valley, Nevada area as we can find.  Main contents are currently the text from the book "White River Valley - Now and Then - 1898 to 1980".  Next things to be added to the site are photos from the same book. . . Photos will be HiRes scans from as many of the originals as possible. Where the original was not available, the printed copy of the picture was scanned.  All pictures will be available as we have time to prepare them for WEB use.  Still debating whether to try to find a way to post the HiRes version or just the web versions.  Initially it will be the WEB versions, then the HiRes versions added later if we can find an easy way to do that.

There are still some text sections to upload. Between each of the chapters in the book was a section of random writings and some of them had ties to the subject matter of the book.  Other were just random clippings of thoughts that might be contemporary to the time.  These will be added as time permits as well.  The ultimate first phase goal is to get the entire book available online.
